My Project

As many of you may not be aware for the past 4 or 5 years rowing has been a massive part of my life. earlier this year i have had to say farewell to my beloved sport.
i had made many friends and as i participated in it while i was still in high school, it played a massive role in crafting the person i am today. I'd hate to be corny but, you can take the rower out of rowing, but you cant take the rowing out of the rower. it will always be apart of me.
currently i am working on a first year engineering project. free for all, all out, what ever you want to make.
"challenge accepted!" i said, quoting the great Barney Stinson.
i decided to make what all rowers have dreamed of making.
removable rowing shoes. now if you dont row you probably wont see the big deal. rowing shoes are fixed into the boat. This can cause issues as rowers often have to carry boats, weighing upwards of 90kgs, over rocky paths and into rocky lakes. A large part of rowing training consists of cross country bike ridding, running and rowing. With this comes the issue of changing between three pairs of shoes in the one training session.
there are already removable rowing shoes but they are hard to walk in. my design allows users to run in them, ride in them and of coarse row in them.
I'll be posting more on this in the weeks to come.
